I was in a Vietnamese neighborhood in Chicago and found these hand-painted hollowed out eggs for $1.00 each. I bought two, one for my mom and one for my sister. I was surprised at the cheap price, a lot of time and detail must have went into painting each one of these eggs. It seems that the artist should have charged more for each egg.
